Most Common Passwords of 2021 Observations

More numbers trump the list, but weak passwords with predictable patterns are similar. NordPass CEO Jonas Karklys shares his thoughts:

“Unfortunately, passwords keep getting weaker, and people still don’t maintain proper password hygiene. It’s important to understand that passwords are the gateway to our digital lives, and with us spending more and more time online, it’s becoming enormously important to take better care of our cybersecurity.”

Jonas Karklys, NordPass CEO

Besides beefing up your password security, you should also keep an eye on your accounts. Regularly check active sessions when you log in and remain vigilant against suspicious activity.

If you haven’t already, use multi-factor authentication whenever you can, preferably through a token generator instead of using SMS through your phone.
